Pardes is a movie directed by Subhash Ghai, which was released in 1997. The film stars Shahrukh Khan, Amrish Puri, Alok Nath and newcomers Mahima Chaudhry and Apurva Agnihotri. When Subhash Ghai decided on putting Mahima Chaudhry in this movie, he changed her name from Ritu to Mahima cause the letter 'M' was lucky for a Subhash Ghai debut (Manisha Koirala and Madhuri Dixit).The music is perfect and is from the perfectionists of 90's Nadeem-Shravan. Yes! truly 90's was the time when whatever they composed was a massive hit. The soulful lyrics is from Anand Bakshi. I love "Do Dil Mil Rahe Hai", "Diwana Dil" the most. I hope you like them too.
